Advance planning and advance booking
I was recently reading a blog article about advance bookings so I thought I would share my thoughts...
I can only speak for myself but I like advance bookings and as I am doing this as a professional career choice it is something I encourage by offering advance booking discount. I also strongly advise booking in advance to get the time and date you would like and sometimes this can be 3 - 4 weeks in advance.
For me this is good because it focuses my attention on my day, I can take advance requests in terms of service and choice of outfit and I can plan my week. For the guys this is also good because it means that the appointment time and date that is wanted can be booked up to 6 months in advance in my diary.
However I am also happy with last minute bookings and find that these have to be fitted in around my advance bookings. I quite like last minute bookings as it is a thrill of lets just turn up and play.
I am very organised as you can probably guess from my dates, as a matter if interest I am now working on 2018/2019 dates, tour dates and beyond and try and have at least 3 months dates posted on my profile.
The only downside of advance bookings is that it commits the working girl and for some girls this may not be what they want to achieve. For me it works just fine as I view this as I would any other work – if I don’t turn into the office every day I would expect to not have a job at the end of the week. I guess my work ethos is just the same when it comes to my availability and my choice in career. Yes believe it or not there is a long term career plan!!
So my advice to anyone who would like to book me is if you have a date and time in mind please do book in advance to be guaranteed my availability, however don’t let that deter from last minute bookings it is always worth a phone call to see if I am available
