Balls

Not what you are thinking!!! Hope you are all ok and looking forward to some Christmas events  ( Balls,) I know I am. 

Playing dress up and pretending to be someone else never gets old no matter how, er, old one gets. Which is probably why we all jump up and down with glee (even if it's just inner you and me) whenever we get an invite to a masquerade ball.  Aside from getting to wear a costume, you also get to wear a mask. The anonymity adds a great deal to the fun. 

Masquerade balls were extended into costumed public festivities in Italy during the 16th century Renaissance. They were generally elaborate dances held for members of the upper classes, and were particularly popular in Venice. Masquerade Ball is an event in which many. Participants attend in costume wearing a mask,  Less formal costume parties may be a descendant of this tradition.     A masquerade ball usually encompasses  music and dancing.  These nighttime events are used for entertainment and celebrations.  

Throughout the century, masquerade balls  became popular in London 19th century. Its prominence did not go unchallenged;  Black Masquerade Masks  can symbolize many personality traits including elegance, authority, dignity, sophistication, mystery, and seduction  (all describe Me) 

 A new resurgence of masquerade balls began in the late 1990s . More recently, the party atmosphere is emphasized and the formal dancing usually less prominent. In present times, masquerade masks are used for costumes during  Halloween (that is another story).  Masquerade masks are sold in a wide range of stores in different designs and colours. Some rather elaborate and rather stunning, just like me. 

A party where everyone wears masks and fucks one another.  See the movie eyes wide shut for an example  Lets go to a masquerade party and join in the orgy whoops I mean fun!!
