However, several rulers throughout history have been known for unusual or unconventional sexual behaviour or preferences.

Examples of rulers with unusual or unconventional sexual behaviour:

• Eadwig, King of England:
  Known for allegedly having two mistresses at the same time, even postponing his coronation to continue his affairs.

• Charles II, King of England:
  Became the first king to use condoms and was also known for having mistresses.
• Louis XIV, King of France:
  His court was known for its extravagant and hedonistic nature, including a focus on sexual affairs.
• Edward II, King of England:
  His relationship with Piers Gaveston was considered unconventional and controversial.
  
• Edward VII, King of England:
