Hot Spoon Dance
On one of my holidays to recuperate I was bitten a few times by insects (I hasten to add) and people advised all manner of things from beetle dung to banana skins (which did work sometimes) depending on the size of the Banana!!
My favourite was the hot spoon and a dance that goes with it. I was a sceptical but it sounded interesting so I arranged my hot kettle water with a mug and a spoon depending on the size of the bite will give you the idea of the right size of the spoon (its all about sizes).
Placing the spoon in the boiling hot water to heat through place the spoon on the bite When it is bearable or unbearable (whatever floats your boat) keep it there until it cools and then repeat if need be do this for a couple of days and the bite should recede, the thing about this story is I grew to like the sensation of the hot spoon and the jumping up and down (hence the hot spoon dance) and hoped another event could happen where I could use it again.
Any guys up for the Hot Spoon I have a selection of Spoon Sizes and a kettle full of boiling water.
