Paraphilia

This week an Introduction regarding Paraphilias which are persistent and recurrent sexual interests, urges, fantasies, or behaviours of marked intensity involving objects, activities, or even situations that are atypical in nature sometimes called Bizarre sex. (sounds like fun).

Clinicians distinguish between optional, preferred and exclusive paraphilias, although the terminology is not completely standardised. An "optional" paraphilia is an alternative route to sexual arousal. In preferred paraphilia, a person prefers the paraphilia but also engages in conventional sexual activities.

The literature includes single-case studies of very rare and idiosyncratic paraphilias. These include an adolescent male who had a strong fetishistic interest in the exhaust pipes of cars, a young man with a similar interest in a specific type of car, and a man who had a paraphilic interest in sneezing (both his own and the sneezing of others).

A friend of mine female could only have sex with a man in a soldiers uniform and he had to put a sack over her head and interrogate her about sex then make her fondle his SAC’s !!!
